Flexible Warehousing Storage Options
Why Flexible Warehouse Storage is Useful
Warehouse storage is a savior for businesses experiencing rapid growth, dealing with seasonal inventory peaks, or simply a great option for businesses that would like their products in specific markets that they may not have their own warehouses in. If you are one of those businesses, know that Hot Shot Final Mile is here to support your business the best way you see fit.
Key Benefits of Flexible Warehousing
Choosing a flexible warehouse for your business has many benefits.
You Can Adapt to Seasonal Demand
If your business often deals with seasonal spikes in inventory, you can easily scale up during peak seasons with flexible warehousing. You can also scale down during slower periods if you want to optimize your inventory.
It Supports Your Business Growth
As your business grows, you may need more storage space. In such cases, flexible warehousing gives you the scalability you need to accommodate your increased inventory without the hassle of relocating or renegotiating leases.
You Can Manage Project-Based Inventory
If you have short-term projects that need temporary storage, flexible warehousing is a convenient and cost-effective solution. You can store with Hot Shot Final Mile for the duration of the project and then scale back down when it’s completed.
It Has Flexible Lease Terms
You can choose from short-term or month-to-month leases. This means you can adjust your storage space as needed without being locked into a long-term contract.
You Get Customizable Space Options
You can select the exact amount of space you need, be it just a few pallets of materials or a large dedicated space for your entire operation. You will only pay for the space you use or the amount of pallets we store for you.
Your Overhead Costs Will Be Reduced
When you eliminate the need to manage your own warehouse facility and warehouse personnel you can reduce overhead costs, such as utilities, maintenance, and staffing.

Commonly Asked Warehousing FAQs
What is the difference between a warehouse and a storage facility?
While both offer storage solutions, warehouses are generally larger and made for commercial use, mainly for inventory management, distribution, and logistics. Storage facilities are for individual or small-scale storage needs. They are mostly used for personal belongings or small business inventory. This difference impacts layout and services offered. A storage facility does not offer all the other amenities such as inbounding and outbounding the freight, inventory management, staging freight for pick ups, etc. Whereas a warehousing facility does offer the additional services. This is why Warehousing is the preferred option for retailers nationwide.
How do you ensure the security of stored goods?
Each of our warehouses are equipped with 24/7 surveillance monitoring and alarm systems with play-back footage, scissor gates, and controlled access to ensure your inventory is safe and secure.
If I store my freight with you, how can I get it to my stores?
In addition to our storage services, Hot Shot Final Mile is also a full servicing logistics company. We have over 250 drivers across the state of Texas. We assist our customers with all of their delivery needs including on-demand deliveries for critical parts and equipment, distribution and final mile deliveries to retail stores, and home deliveries straight to a consignees doorstep. Regardless of your delivery needs, Hot Shot Final Mile is ready to help.
Are there any restrictions on what I can store in your warehouse?
Yes, for the safety of our facility and in compliance with regulations, certain items are prohibited from storage. These are hazardous materials, flammable substances, certain perishable goods that could attract pests, and illegal items. We are more than happy to provide a complete list of restricted items upon request so that your stored goods meet our guidelines.
